Take a tour through 1770 led by one of our educators. Explore the grounds of a working tobacco farm and meet its two- and four-legged residents. Suitable for all ages.
This is an in-person small group (up to 7 people) Farm Tour. When booking a group, purchase 1 ticket which covers up to 7 people. We ask that the group is part of the same household for safety during COVID19. All participants are required to wear a mask.
*All tours must be booked by 5 pm the evening before the tour is scheduled.
Proceeds from this farm tour support the Accokeek Foundation's education programs and land conservation work in Piscataway Park.
COVID-19 policy: We ask park visitors to monitor for health screening before visiting - Do you have any of the following symptoms: fever of 100.4 degrees or above, or possible fever-like symptoms such as alternating chills and sweating or muscle or body aches that are not exercise related; new cough (not a chronic cough or your normal seasonal allergies;) trouble breathing or shortness of breath; sore throat; new loss of smell or taste; or headaches? Have you been in recent contact with anyone who is COVID-19 positive or suspected of being COVID-19 positive? If you have a fever of above 100.4 degrees, feel ill, or answer "yes" to any of the above questions, we ask that you do not visit the park and you will be issued a full refund.
Cancellation policy: For cancellations received at least one week in advance, registration fees are refundable less a $10 administrative fee. No refunds are available in the final week. The Accokeek Foundation reserves the right to cancel programs. If the Accokeek Foundation cancels, we will issue a full refund to those who have prepaid.
