Culinary Demonstration with Chef Terrance: Seafood

Learn about the long history of eel and other seafood in the Potomac River and how the many cultures along the river have subsisted on seafood. Our guest, Chef Terrance Murphy of Meallennial Living, will be preparing a dish inspired by the traditional foods of this region using a mix of seasonal and foraged ingredients. Registrants will receive a recipe card. Drop in anytime between 1-3pm for this free program. Donations accepted.
 

This demonstration takes place outdoors on the National Colonial Farm. Unvaccinated visitors over the age of 2 years are asked to wear masks, during the program, and all visitors are required to wear a mask inside the Visitor Center and other public buildings.

Any donations for this program support the Accokeek Foundation's education programs and land conservation work in Piscataway Park.
