Spring brings blooming flowers, returning wildlife, and barnyard babies to Piscataway Park. Join the Accokeek Foundation to celebrate the beauty of the season as Mother Earth and the vibrant life she sustains reawakens after a long winter.  

On April 13, meet the new lambs and goats, explore the gardens, enjoy spring crafts & activities, and learn about Piscataway culture. 

This event is free to attend, and we encourage guests to make a contribution to support efforts like the Heritage Breed Livestock Conservation program (feed a new momma and her baby!) and experiential learning for over 15,000 local youth. All proceeds from Earth Awakening will support the Accokeek Foundation's conservation and education work in Piscataway Park.
