Juneteenth Journey to Freedom Tour

Honor Juneteenth on this "Journey to Freedom" tour led by Historical Performer Shemika Berry. Step through time and see how life changed on the Bolton farm when slavery was abolished in 1865. This free tour is offered as part of our Juneteenth Open House, but registration is required as capacity is limited. To register for other programs in the Juneteenth Open House, click here

This program takes place outdoors over uneven terrain and will be held rain or shine. Participants will need to walk or stand for 45-60 minutes. The Accokeek Foundation may cancel or alter the schedule of this program in the event of severe weather. The Accokeek Foundation follows masking guidance from the National Park Service and local health agencies. Masks will be required indoors and for outdoor non-socially distanced activities if the COVID-19 community level for Prince George's County, as defined by the CDC, is HIGH at the time of the program.
