Celebrate Juneteenth with an open house at Piscataway Park! Drop by between 11 am and 3:00 PM to learn about the end of slavery in Maryland and other goings-on in Piscataway Park! The open house is a FREE, drop-in program, but registration is encouraged. The Juneteenth Journey to Freedom Tour and Juneteenth Plant walk are free, but require registration. 

This program takes place outdoors over uneven terrain and will be held rain or shine. The Accokeek Foundation may cancel or alter the schedule of this program in the event of severe weather. The Accokeek Foundation follows masking guidance from the National Park Service and local health agencies. Masks will be required indoors and for outdoor non-socially distanced activities if the COVID-19 community level for Prince George's County, as defined by the CDC, is HIGH at the time of the program.
